On the enchanting evening of March 30th, 2024. Thunder Bay, Ontario, witnessed the convergence of art, fashion, and music at the Black Pirates Pub. As Derelicte 14: A Fashion Odyssey unfolded its spellbinding spectacle. As an event photographer, I had the privilege of capturing every electrifying moment of this extraordinary affair.

The journey of a business headshot photo shoot often begins with a simple inquiry, and in this case, it was Simona, the wife of the client, Christian, who took the initiative. Having discovered my photography services through a Google search for local headshot photographers, she found my website, Kirvan Photography. Intrigued by my portfolio and the style of photography I offered, Simona reached out to discuss the possibility of capturing her husband’s business headshots.

Embarking on a real estate photography adventure is always an exciting journey, and my recent shoot at 394 Royal Street in Thunder Bay was no exception. The whole gig came about through the connection of a good friend, Meagan Griffin, who happens to be a fantastic Real Estate Agent at Signature North Realty Inc. Meagan reached out to me with a special request – to capture the essence of the house in bright HDR. Without hesitation, I assured her it was a task I could handle, and we promptly set a date for the shoot.

Capturing the essence of a newborn’s innocence and the joy that comes with welcoming a new member into the family is a special privilege for any photographer. Such was the case with baby Liam, whose parents discovered Kirvan Photography through a Google listing. Drawn to the unique newborn photography style, they enthusiastically decided to book a session to immortalize the precious early moments of their newborn’s life.
