Amanda and Lance live in Schreiber, a charming town just a short drive from Thunder Bay. Although it was a bit of a journey, I was excited to travel for their wedding. This trip allowed me to explore a unique location and meet wonderful people. In addition, Schreiber’s small-town vibe made the event feel intimate and personal. I connected with the couple in their hometown, met family and friends, and captured breathtaking shots at Schreiber Beach. Altogether, the setting proved to be a photographer’s dream.

Smooth Planning for Out-of-Town Weddings

Smooth planning is essential for any out-of-town wedding. Amanda and Lance reached out months before their big day to discuss logistics. After careful consideration, we decided that staying in Schreiber the night before and after the wedding would work best. This plan allowed me to start early and stay focused throughout the day. In addition, it ensured I was well-rested and ready to capture every special moment. While I did not charge for the travel day, extra funds were required for travel and accommodation. Fortunately, Amanda and Lance arranged my stay, making everything seamless.
